This is a view from the outside of my base. You can see the wall surrounding my home with a lip of glass blocks to keep spiders out. The gap in the middle of the wall is where I will build a gate house where I can store some “away gear”.
My home base in my single player survival world is now completely surrounded by a wall to keep bad guys out. I make sure that the inside is lit up sufficiently so that no bad mobs spawn inside my safe zone. The structure in the middle is my lava pillar beacon tower so I can […]
To the left you can see my main home base with a massive lava pillar on the roof serving as a beacon. Down the middle is a wall that will keep the bad guys out. The glass along the edges keep spiders from crawling up will minimizing the hindrance to my visibility. This wall wraps […]

We are looking down on the main base attached to the greenhouse with the glass roof and farming inside. The surrounding hills and fields have been lit up with […]
This is a great shot of my lava-tipped beacon tower. The moon is slowly rising behind it creating a little bit of a silhouette. In the foreground you can see my sister on the left and the sugar cane farming on the right.
