Reaching all the way to the top-most buildable block, this tower “towers” above the young Cityscape town. Except for a couple of floors and a central spiral staircase the tower is hollow on the inside, at least for the time being. The view from the top is quite spectacular.
This is a really good view of the humble beginnings of my Cityscape town. In a counter-clockwise motion from the bottom center you can see the fortress that the tower we are standing on is built on, then my ugly tree covered pyramid, then the glorious Temple of the Sun followed by a couple regular […]
In the distance we can see my giant tower that protrudes out of that fortress type building at it’s base. The single line of blocks at the top is to test the vertical building limit; at completion the tower will reach that height. On the left you can see a short pyramid with trees on […]
Having just discovered my first wolf and immediately thereafter 2 more that I’ve tamed I’m running around and they’re loyally following me. In the second image you can see my tower under construction. It only has a few levels on the inside and a large spiral stairs in the center going all the way to […]
I went on a bit of a hike to inspect some distant terrain features surrounding my town. After turning around this is the view I was treated with. It’s the Temple of the Sun standing on a hill overlooking a handful of structures which will eventually multiply into a city.
This is a view of the town square in which you can see both the lighthouse and the Temple of the Sun. In the center is a water fountain surrounded by some market stalls and around them some houses. Just behind the blue market stall is a commercial venue; I haven’t decided what it is […]
This area of my town-soon-to-be-city is like a little square. You can see the market stalls with the blue and pink cloth roofs and a fountain in the center. Houses and other buildings surround the square. You can see the lighthouse off to the right. One thing you can’t see in this image is that […]
The lighthouse is put to work as the sun sets behind it on the horizon. After an accident with fire I’ve decided to go with glow stone as the light source. The other buildings are the first couple of structures in the town that will gradually grow into a city.
This is the interior main hall of the Temple of the Sun. Seating has been put in, via the trusty method of steps with blank signs on the sides (in this case, since there’s only a single tile in between I couldn’t put armrests in the center). A red carpet connects the water basin at […]
After a fire accident at the top of my lighthouse I’ve decided to make the repairs and use glow stone instead. We are standing on the steps with our back to the Temple of the Sun.
