Lava tipped beacon tower

According to the Minecraft wiki, lava is one of the brightest light sources and it’s also relatively easy to obtain and use efficiently. This tower can be used to mark our home location for when we go exploring. Between the first and second image you can see I’ve added supporting parts, kind of like buttresses, to the middle section of the tower. It reaches up to the highest build-able block and the lava is encased in glass.
