Finding Diamond!

Whenever I find diamond in my single player survival world I carefully mine all the blocks around it before proceeding to mine the diamond itself. It never hurts to be safe with such a precious resource. Immediately after mining all the diamond from a vein I run back to my nearest storage location and dump it safely in a chest. This is also a good opportunity to off load some of the cobblestone, dirt and gravel I’ve been collecting over time.
